Nalani Rothrock and co-writer/guitarist Joshua Lamkin create and sustain a soulful sound that is timeless. The album of all-original songs offer an abundance of genres—blues, jazz, soul, country—and an impressive ability to shift from one to another seamlessly. But most of all, Rothrock’s mesmerizing vocals are the focus, and rightfully so.
