New Holiday Music: Tori Martin — ‘Warm For December’

Warm. As in “at a comfortably high temperature.” As in just right. As in the sound of Tori Martin’s tempting, comfy voice on her new single, “Warm For December.” It’s a sexy, fun number that is perfect for staying in during the current winter freeze, and it pairs well with her previous release, the energetic “Lost In The Country” — a single that gave Tori her first #1 on the Texas Charts just last week.

Tori co-wrote the song with hitmakers Bill DiLuigi and Kirsti Manna. The track was produced by LuckySky Music’s Bill Warner and recorded at WarnerWorks Studio, and features top-notch Nashville talent, including Russ Pahl (steel guitar), Dane Bryant (bass, keys), Bill Warner (guitars), and Brian Czach on drums.

With the song, Tori Martin takes the bright colors of Christmas and softens them, drawing the listener near with her subtle vocal control. She delivers smoother notes (and a softer attitude) than the typically brash delivery that comes with holiday hits. She warms up the frosty genre, and is so accessible that she transforms a December confession into an invitation for the coming New Year. Things are definitely heating up for 2025.
