Guitarist Jimmy Vivino will release his label (Gulf Coast Records) debut album, Gonna Be 2 of Those Days, on February 14, 2025. It’s an album that features all of the passion and power expected from this monster musician.
It also features special guests Joe Bonamassa and John Sebastian. After his highly successful run as the leader of Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band on Conan O’Brien’s hit television show, choosing artists to collaborate with must be a breeze. A partial list of some of the artists he’s worked with, who he calls “family” and “mentors” who taught him the “ways,” includes Levon Helm, Phoebe Snow, Al Kooper, John Sebastian, James Cotton, Joe Louis Walker, Hubert Sumlin, Jimmie Vaughan, Johnnie Johnson, Laura Nyro, Odetta, Lowell Fulson, Son Seals, Donald Fagen , Darlene Love, Felix Cavaliere, Barry Goldberg, Nick Gravenites, Canned Heat with Fito de la Parra, Warren Haynes and just about anyone else who passed through New York City and needed a band that could play the Blues, Soul, Real Rock ‘n’ Roll and R&B.
Gonna Be 2 of Those Days places Mr. Vivino right where he belongs—center stage. The album overflows with the energy and musicianship that gets people out there, sharing it together. It’s bound to be one of the ‘must-see-and-hear’ tours of 2025.
