New Country: Alex Miller – ‘More Country Than You’

With his new album, More Country Than You, Alex Miller continues to shine like the rising country star that he is. By assembling a variety of song styles on one album, Miller asserts that there are few limitations of the definition of country music—especially when it is delivered by an artist who clearly loves country music as much as Miller does. The album will be released on Billy Jam Records on April 10, 2026.

The sound of Alex Miller playing and singing is the sound of honesty and authenticity. Born with a voice that perfectly captures the one-on-one-on-one relationship between a country song, a country singer, and the listener (the best relationship in the world, by the way), he has the ability with just a note or two to connect and reassure. The slight twang he sends your way is pure and natural, and often implies a sense of humor that lies underneath the lyrics. In other words, if it is the country experience you are seeking, Alex Miller brings it to you.

With the album’s title track, Alex Miller has also released his first single of 2026, with Emily Ann Roberts. It’s an up-tempo duet that pays tribute to some of the classic country male/female duets of the past. The two are not afraid to have a whole lot of fun while blending their vocals. Miller and Roberts might just become one of the great country collaborations. I’m definitely ready to hear more from them.

What makes Alex Miller so refreshing is his determination to be a bonafide country singer. He is the real deal, and it is exciting to witness his career continue to claim the fan base he so richly deserves. I hope his determination is as strong as his talent, for I can’t wait to watch his music become more and more well-known and appreciated.
