The songs are thoughts you haven’t quite articulated yourself, and they are organized to make just enough sense to pair with music that speaks directly to your heart. If you agree, then you should familiarize yourself with singer-songwriter Meredith Moon. Her most recent release, Constellations. will send you over the moon… all while keeping you safely at home. The album consists of ten songs, wrapped in sublime musicianship, and delivered as an offering of coherent yearning. If that makes sense, then you’ll also understand that music this good cannot always be described by mere words.

I suspect that Constellations is one of those albums that becomes even more cherished over time. That is usually the mark of minimalism done well. Which, of course, means that Meredith Moon becomes a must-see artist whenever the opportunity arises. She has a pensive delivery of strong material that can stand up to multiple explorations. This is definitely an album that benefits from repeated listenings. I already look forward to seeing what it says to me tomorrow.
