Wednesday night brings the return of John Isner to the Center Court at the  2016 Fayez Sarofim & Co. U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championship. The former champion is the tournament’s number one seed. Isner is seeking his 50th career clay court win on Wednesday. The No. 1 American is also closing in on another milestone as he enters the match with a 296-183 record.

Inner (World No. 15) will face fellow American Denis Kudla (World No. 59), who is attempting to reach a quarterfinal for the fourth time on his career. He has reached two grass court quarterfinals in his career, and last summer reached his first on hard courts in Atlanta.
