Southern Halo

Every once in awhile a debut album comes along that makes me wonder just how far the artist can go. In the case of Southern Halo, the band composed of teenage sisters Natalia, Christina and Hannah Morris, after one listen I’d have to say that these ladies could easily reach the top of the country music scene. Their energy, their natural talent, and their obvious love for making music will take them as far as they want to go.

Each of the sisters in the band is a talented singer, songwriter, and musician. At this point, Natalia is on lead vocals and guitar, Christina supplies background vocals and drums, and Hannah provides background vocals and bass, but listening to their sweet harmonies suggests that any one of them could easily take the lead.

The self-titled, debut album offers an exciting mix of country, pop, and rock—all of it oozing a sweet Southern sound. As the trio finds success, which seems inevitable, here’s hoping they continue to find material as worthy of their gifts as this album.
