Lucas Hoge is impressing country radio with his new single, “Boom Boom.” It’s a feel good uptempo  love song that inhabits the popular border between pop and country. Sung with a comfortable, slightly yearning voice, it was smartly produced by Matt McClure (who produced the 2013 CMA Song of the Year, Lee Brice’s “I Drive Your Truck”). The vibe the song projects is a perfect match for Hoge’s easy-going way and winning smile. Expect more great tunes from this guy when his EP comes out later this year.
