Award-winning international vocalist and recording artist Cosimo Lizzi and Nashville recording artist Leigh Pollari have partnered with Team Fox, the grassroots fundraising program of The Michael J. Fox Foundation, for a special collaboration: their new EP, “Downtown” 65^th Birthday Tribute to Michael J. Fox.

Recorded in Nashville, the three-track EP is available on all digital music platforms worldwide and will be released on 06-09-2026 in honor of Michael J. Fox’s 65^th birthday, with all proceeds benefiting his foundation. The project is deeply personal for both artists, whose lives have been profoundly affected by Parkinson’s disease. Pollari’s father passed away in 2023, and Lizzi has lost many close friends to the illness, which affects more than 10 million people worldwide.

The EP highlights both artists’ talents, featuring a solo track from each along with the energetic title track, “Downtown,” a song with a long history of successful covers. Lizzi brings his own style to Neil Diamond’s classic “September Morn,” recorded in honor of Diamond’s own Parkinson’s journey. Pollari contributes her late father’s favorite song, “I Know a Carpenter,” as a tribute to him and his passing from the disease. The Michael J. Fox Foundation’s mission is to inspire passionate people around the world to turn their skills, hobbies, and personal interests into fundraising opportunities that support high-impact research, improved therapies, and ultimately a cure for Parkinson’s disease.
