Saxophonist Carla Marciano explores a deeply emotional landscape on Daydreaming, My Beloved Father Giovanni. Written after the loss of both parents and her recovery from a serious accident, the album (her sixth) is a compelling record of loss, grief, and survival. What a beautiful tribute.
